Bishop Boxing Promotions and Xecute Team Limited to deliver Bukom Fest, a groundbreaking two-day boxing festival that aims to celebrate the nation’s rich boxing heritage while setting a new Guinness World Records benchmark.
Scheduled for August 28–29, 2026, at GHUD Park, Accra Mall, Bukom Fest will combine elite professional boxing, live entertainment, and world-class event production in what organizers describe as Ghana’s premier boxing spectacle. The festival will also feature an ambitious Guinness World Records attemptfor the most professional boxing bouts staged during a boxing festival, a feat expected to draw international attention to Ghana’s thriving boxing scene.
Speaking on the partnership, Dr. Dave Bishop, President of Bishop Boxing Promotions, emphasized the significance of the collaboration in elevating the sport’s profile.
“Bukom Fest is built to spotlight Ghanaian fighters and bring world-class production to our sport. Partnering with Xecute ensures fans, athletes, and partners experience an event that matches the talent on the card,” he said.
Under the agreement, Bishop Boxing Promotions will oversee boxing programming and athlete management, while Xecute Team Limited will lead event production, logistics, and ticketing through its digital platform, Xecute Pass.
The inaugural edition of Bukom Fest will feature an exciting lineup of professional bouts, including Wasiru Mohammed vs. Charles Tetteh, Haruna Mohammed vs. Obodai Sai, Henry Malm vs. Sampson Segbedzi, Majid Yakubu vs. Ghislain Uodounessi, Emmanuel Mawuli vs. Moses Adjei Selui, Kofi Dana vs. Musah Lawson, Africanus Neequaye vs. Sunday Adeleye, Abraham Mensah vs. Ezekiel Annan, George Mensah vs. Jessie Lartey, and Ernest Ampah vs. Daniel Quaye. Organizers have confirmed that additional fight pairings will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event.
Beyond the action inside the ring, the partnership is expected to significantly enhance the quality of boxing events in Ghana. Xecute Team Limited’s expertise in large-scale event production and logistics is expected to deliver a seamless experience for spectators, sponsors, broadcasters, and participating athletes.
The collaboration also represents an important step in creating new opportunities for Ghanaian and West African boxers by providing a high-profile platform to showcase their talent before local and international audiences. Organizers believe the combination of elite competition, entertainment, and the Guinness World Records attempt has the potential to attract global media coverage, commercial sponsors, and international broadcast partners.
Bishop Boxing Promotions has built its reputation by developing and promoting Ghanaian and West African boxing talent through professional fight cards, athlete management, and grassroots development initiatives. Xecute Team Limited, meanwhile, is one of Ghana’s leading event production and logistics companies, recognized for delivering major public events, televised productions, and innovative ticketing solutions.
