The 2022 National Science and Maths Quiz was won by PRESEC Legon. This makes them the contest’s seven-time champions; they began the quiz nervously but rose to their game in the fifth round to win.

“We are still’seven’ a living God,” Presec students, old boys, and supporters chanted as the Legon-based school won its seventh National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) trophy.
The boys successfully resisted Prempeh College’s threat to equal two of their records in a single swing. The Kumasi-based challengers were in tears after being defeated on their home turf, and their host and victory chants were muted. Presec returns the trophy to Accra, shattering their opponents’ hopes. Adisadel College also failed in their attempt to return the trophy to Cape Coast after a three-year drought for the city with the most trophies. The competition itself was heated, with all schools missing the first two rounds of questions.
