In a beautiful act of generosity and compassion, Jennifer Djan-Krofa and her team from “The Experience by Ampofoa” made a significant impact on the lives of children at the South Labone Girls Vocational Institute Orphanage in Accra. On Saturday, August 10, 2024, the group visited the orphanage with a mission to spread joy and provide much-needed support to the children.
The event was marked by the donation of essential items, including food supplies such as rice, oil, canned goods, and drinks; educational materials; sanitary items; and special gifts for the children. Additionally, a monetary donation was made to further assist the orphanage in its daily operations and ongoing needs.
The Experience by Ampofoa led by Jennifer Djan-Krofa, began with a warm welcome and introductions, setting a positive tone for the day. The purpose of the visit was shared, highlighting the team’s commitment to making a difference in the lives of the children and the community. This was followed by a carousel session where team members shared personal stories, allowing for a deeper connection with the children. The day’s activities also included a lively question-and-answer session, where the children had the opportunity to engage with the visitors and learn more about them.
