Kumawood star Lil Win is grateful to God for surviving a horrific automobile accident on Saturday while en route to the Kumasi premiere of A Country Called Ghana. The actor delivered his first speech about the disaster at the film’s premiere hours after it had occurred.
Lil Win was spotted with a white bandage covering his forehead where he had been injured. Addressing the audience, he said that he had been told to stay indoors.
However, he could not disregard the efforts of those who attended the event, including local chiefs, and so went there when he felt better. Lil Win revealed that he only survived the crash due to God’s grace.
He also thanked everyone who supported him. Lilwin and others were injured in a head-on car incident hours before the debut of his film ‘A Country Called Ghana’. The tragedy happened on Saturday morning in Amakom, a neighborhood of Kumasi in the Ashanti region.
According to eyewitnesses, the actor was driving at high speeds from the Amakom crossing to the WAEC area when he unexpectedly drifted into the opposite lane. According to eyewitnesses, the truck collided head-on with a private family automobile carrying a father and his four-year-old child, rendering the child unconscious due to serious head injuries.
Lilwin and his two passengers also suffered head injuries. The impact of the crash destroyed both cars. A third victim claims the speeding vehicle shattered her car lights
