Joyce Blessing, a Ghanaian gospel musician, has revealed the inspiration behind her decision to feature secular artists in her songs. According to the ‘Heavy Price’ singer, the majority of the secular musicians whom people dislike are pleasant and want to collaborate with her on music ventures. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Joyce Blessing, who has songs with Becca, the late Jewel Ackah, Amerado, and King Paluta, discussed how a gospel singer declined to collaborate with her. “I believe I requested a collaboration with some of my fellow gospel artists, who I will not name.
“I think the person felt I was a competitor so he would not give me the [feature],” Joyce told Andy.
She is currently out with a new song called “Correct,” starring King Paluta, after remixing her song “Overdo” with Amerado.
Joyce also expressed her excitement about working with more secular musicians like Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie to Andy Dosty.
