Rev. Dr. Michael Perry Nii Osah Tettey is a minister of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) and presently the Deputy General Secretary of ICGC and the Resident Pastor of ICGC Resurrection Temple located in Ghana, Tema Community 21.
He currently chairs the Coordination Team of all the 19 Presbytery Committees of ICGC. Again, he is the chairperson of the Church Order and Doctrine Committee of ICGC, a member of the Ordination and Licensing Committee, and the immediate past chairperson of the Strategic Leadership Platform Committee of the Church.
Dr. Michael Perry Tettey is a trained theologian and a social scientist. He holds the following degrees: a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the prestigious University of Edinburgh, United Kingdom, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) from the University of Ghana, and a Bachelor of Art (BA Hons.) from Central University, Ghana. He was previously trained in the Built Environment.
His expertise is in the areas of Religion and Empowerment, World Christianity, Pentecostalism, New Testament Theology, Church Governance & Leadership, Religion and Development, Religion and Social, Cultural & Spiritual Capital, Religion and Public Life, Church and State Relationship, etc.
Dr.Michael Perry Tettey has a strong interest in the subject of Empowerment and Social Justice. Thus, his research interest encompasses Religion and Human Rights, New Religious Movements in Africa, Socio-Religio and Political empowerment, Religion and Ecosystem, etc. He is a conference speaker and a member of professional and academic organizations across the globe including, the Association for the Sociology of Religion (ASR), European Research Network for Global Pentecostalism (GLOPENT), etc.
Dr. Michael Perry Tettey is a family-oriented person and has an unquenchable interest in pastoral work. He describes himself as an agent of empowerment in an ever-changing world.
