Kojo Kurankye, also known as Ras Kuuku, believes his colleague Gyakie should have won the Female Vocalist of the Year category at the recent Telecel Ghana Music Awards.

He claims he is dissatisfied because she was the best fit for that category. In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, he emphasized that the musician did well with tracks published during the year under consideration.

“I believe Gyakie should have won Female Vocalist of the Year. She did a lot of work last year, notably on the songs in which she included a youngster from the UK (North London’s rap prodigy JBEE). “She did well, but she had nothing; why is that?” He quizzed.
