Mohammed Kudus has been forced to withdraw from the squad for the upcoming friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda due to injury. The news comes as a blow to fans and team members alike, as Kudus has been a key player for the squad in recent matches.

Kudus, who was among the first team players named in the 26-man squad by new head coach Otto Addo, will be sorely missed on the field. Known for his impeccable work rate and exceptional skill, Kudus has been a standout performer for both club and country.

The injury setback reportedly occurred during Kudus’ last Premier League game against Aston Villa over the weekend. Despite playing the full 90 minutes, Kudus sustained a shoulder injury, which has now ruled him out of international duty.

This is not the first time Mohammed Kudus  has faced injury concerns on the national stage. During the 2023 African Cup of Nations, Kudus was also nursing a hamstring injury when the final call-up was announced, resulting in his late arrival to camp.

Mohammed Kudus joins Nathaniel Adjei as the second player to withdraw from the squad due to injury. With Ghana gearing up to face Nigeria in a highly anticipated clash on March 22, 2024, the absence of Kudus will undoubtedly be felt on the field.

In the meantime, Coach Otto Addo and the rest of the squad will be working tirelessly to ensure they are prepared for the upcoming challenges on the pitch.
