The team departed Accra at 10:40 a.m. and arrived at Benina International Airport at 6:30 p.m. local time, signaling the start of their final preparations for the must-win encounter.
Following a disappointing goalless draw against Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium last Thursday, this upcoming match is pivotal for Ghana as they look to keep their qualification hopes alive. Currently sitting third in Group F with two points, a victory is essential to close the gap on second-placed Sudan and leaders Angola.
As part of their buildup to Tuesday’s clash, the Black Stars will hold a mandatory pre-match training session at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday, October 14. Coach Otto Addo will use the session to fine-tune the team’s strategy, focusing on converting chances and maintaining defensive solidity after missed opportunities cost them in the first leg.
