EMY Africa Announces The Nominees For The 10th Anniversary Awards

EMY Africa has just dropped the star-studded list of nominees for the 10th Anniversary Edition of the EMY Africa Awards, and the buzz is real across the continent.

Set to take center stage on Saturday, 22nd November 2025, this milestone ceremony marks a decade of honouring Africa’s brightest stars from game-changing innovators to cultural icons and visionary leaders making waves both at home and in the diaspora.

Over the past decade, EMY Africa has built a legacy as the continent’s most prestigious recognition platform, celebrating excellence in business, sports, creative arts, public service, and social impact. Past honourees read like a who’s who of African excellence, including H.E. John Agyekum Kufuor, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin, Stevie Wonder, Tony Elumelu, Abedi Pele, Don Jazzy, Azumah Nelson, Sir Sam Jonah, and Patricia Obo-Nai, to name just a few.

This landmark edition is made even more iconic with official partnerships from UNESCO, Ghana’s Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, The Diaspora Affairs Office at the Presidency, and EY Ghana all joining forces to spotlight Africa’s global influence.

The nominees were revealed in a glitzy live Nominations Announcement Show hosted by media ace Kojo Yankson.
