The Creative President of Nineteen57, Kofi Okyere Darko (KOD), has revealed that multiple award-winning Reggae/Dancehall star Epixode, born Theophilus Nii Arday Otoo, will launch his clothing brand during the event.
This year’s edition, dubbed “The Kente Edition,” will take place at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre, on November 30, 2024. The event will honor Ghana’s heritage with a spotlight on Kente, the renowned Ghanaian textile made from hand-woven strips of silk and cotton.
Kente, with its vibrant colors and intricate patterns, represents the essence of African craftsmanship, sustainability, and tradition. It’s more than just fabric—it’s a cultural emblem that celebrates the creativity and resilience of the African spirit.
Patrons of Rhythms On Da Runway 2024 are in for an unforgettable experience. The event will feature an incredible lineup of musical performances from some of Ghana’s most celebrated artists and international stars, including: Asaabea Cropper, Nene Agyeman, Amandzeba, Camidoh (NLF Hitmaker), Nacee, Kwabena Kwabena, Edem, Michael Stuckey (USA), Epixode.
