The next meeting of the Ghana Football Association’s Executive Council (ExCo) is scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, 2024. Council Members will gather to discuss a variety of major topics concerning the development of football in the country. The Black Stars’ performance is at the top of the meeting’s agenda. Executive Council will also address a GFA Retreat that is scheduled to take place soon.
This retreat is expected to provide a venue for Ghana Football members and stakeholders to contribute insightfully to talks aimed at improving the game’s development in Ghana.
The Executive Council meeting will hear information on domestic competitions such as the Ghana Premier League, Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League, Access Bank Division One League, MTN FA Cup, and Women’s FA Cup.
In addition, the Executive Council members will be updated on the latest developments with the other national teams, which include the Black Queens, Black Galaxies, Black Satellites, Black Princesses, Black Starlets, and Black Maidens. The U15 Boys and Girls School Program will also be discussed.
The Regional Football Associations (RFAs) will also be prominently featured on the agenda, with ExCo members expected to receive information on the activities of the ten RFAs, including the 2nd Division, 3rd Division, Colts, and Regional Women’s Division One leagues.
There will be reports on the KGL U17 Colts Championship and the TDS Elite U15 Boys and Girls Colts Championship.
The agenda also includes information on the Ghana Football Association’s ongoing projects, such as the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence (GSCE) in Prampram. The conference promises to be productive, with ExCo members expected to make critical choices that will determine Ghana’s football future.
