As part of its 25th Anniversary celebrations, the ICGC Resurrection Temple took a joyous detour from the pulpit to paradise organizing an unforgettable day out at the stunning Peninsula Resort in Akosombo. This milestone celebration brought together members from all walks of life to connect, unwind, and reflect on the incredible journey of the church, which began with nothing more than one bag of cement and a powerful vision.

What began as a modest foundation has today become a spiritual home for hundreds, if not thousands, who gather weekly to worship, learn, and grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Marking 25 years of grace, growth, and community, the church leadership curated this special outing to foster deeper fellowship among members and it was nothing short of amazing.

The scenic Peninsula Resort provided the perfect backdrop for the celebration. Set against the tranquil waters of the Volta River and surrounded by lush greenery, the atmosphere was electric with laughter, music, and excitement.

From adrenaline-pumping boat cruises across the calm waters to serene horseback riding along the resort paths, there was something for everyone. Kids and adults alike splashed joyfully in the swimming pool, while others engaged in team games, dancing, and a buffet of delectable local and international dishes.

“It’s not every day you get to see your church family in this kind of setting,” said one member, beaming after a boat ride. “We prayed together, now we play together and that’s special.”

More Than a Church – A Family

ICGC Resurrection Temple’s journey is a testament to faith, resilience, and vision. From a humble beginning with just one bag of cement, the church has grown into a beacon of hope and transformation. It has provided not just spiritual nourishment, but also a safe space for people to connect, build lasting relationships, and impact their communities.

Senior Pastor and leadership members were also in attendance, mingling with congregants and sharing light-hearted moments reinforcing the message that church is not just a place of worship, but a family of believers doing life together.

If You Missed It… You Really Missed Out

For those who couldn’t make it, the message was loud and clear  you missed a whole lot. From laughter-filled moments to bonding experiences, the Day Out at Peninsula Resort was more than an event; it was a memory in the making.
