Ghanaian comedian, actor, TV host, and politician Seth Kwame Dzokoto has achieved a major academic milestone, graduating with a Master’s Degree in International Politics and Diplomacy from the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC).

Best known for his infectious charisma as the host of Edziban on TV3 , a vibrant show that celebrates Ghanaian food culture by exploring local joints and traditional cuisines, Kwame Dzokoto has now added “international relations scholar” to his already impressive résumé.

Dzokoto’s journey to academic excellence began in an unlikely place: while listening to GBC Radio’s Behind the News. In a recent Facebook post following his graduation, he reflected on the moment that sparked this new path a lecture by Prof. Vladimir Antwi-Danso, explaining the complexities of the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

“It started as a small dream after listening to Prof. Vladimir Antwi-Danso… His explanations exposed my ignorance and encouraged me to study international politics and diplomacy,” Dzokoto wrote.

He went on to express deep gratitude to Chief Ibrahim Mahama, acknowledging his support with the heartfelt words:

“I have nothing to say than ask for strength in health for you. Be blessed for dreaming in others’ dream.”

At the heart of Kwame Dzokoto’s achievement lies a powerful message: growth requires humility, reflection, and action. He shared in his post:

“It will always take a lot of sacrifice for His grace to manifest in success… It’s also cemented the fact that He does it in His own time.”
