Wendy Shay, an award-winning Ghanaian songstress, gave a night to remember with the first edition of her much-anticipated show, One Night Stand with Wendy Shay. The event took place on Monday, December 30 at SoHo, Marina Mall, Airport, Accra.

She played a selection of her most popular songs, including Emergency, Survivor, Odo, Heaven, Murder, One Man, Astalavista, Uber Driver, Bedroom Commando, Stevie Wonder, Masakra, Special Love, Vivian, and many more.

Aside from her fascinating performance, her industry colleagues delivered great performances. Mr. Drew, Sista Afia, Olivetheboy, Sefa, and Safo Newman all came through and provided magnificent performances that the audience will remember for a long time. Emerging artists such as Veola and Ivestunner also took the stage to show fans what they have in store and what music listeners may expect in the future.
The event drew noteworthy figures, including Hon. Alan Kyerematen, the flagbearer of the Movement for Change, and members of his political party.
There were also several media figures and industry colleagues in attendance to show their support for the brilliant musician. While the night was full of great moments, one of the most memorable was when a fan, Kobby Shay, joined Wendy Shay on stage to perform her hit song, Special Love.
