Ghanaian interior designer Belle Yemofio, founder and Creative Director of EllenDavis Interior Design in Accra, has gained international recognition after winning the Professional Award – Residential Space (Innovation Award Category) at the Italy International Design Award (IIDA) in Milan, while also earning a nomination for African Interior Designer of the Year at the Africa Golden Awards.
The dual recognition places Yemofio among a growing number of African designers whose work is gaining global visibility and influence in contemporary interior architecture.
The Italy International Design Award, headquartered in Milan—one of the world’s most influential design capitals—recognized Yemofio’s residential project ‘The Curve Residence Project.’ The project received the Professional Award for Residential Space in the Innovation Award Category, highlighting its innovative spatial composition, architectural fluidity, and contemporary design expression.
The Curve Residence Project reflects Yemofio’s signature design philosophy, balancing elegance with functionality while introducing bold architectural curves and seamless spatial transitions that redefine modern residential interiors.
