Praise Onyeagwalam (born November 28, 1999), popularly known as Director Pink, is a trailblazing Nigerian music video director, cinematographer, and film director. With her visionary style, she’s become one of Afrobeats’ most influential creatives and the founder of Pinkline Films.

Director Pink’s official career launched in 2020 with her directorial debut on the music video for “Philomena” by Marxii.She quickly caught fire.

Her breakout moment arrived in early 2021 when she directed “Running To You” by Chike featuring Simi, which surged to become the most-viewed Nigerian music video in the first half of 2021.

Later, in 2021, she ventured beyond music videos producing and directing the short horror film “Lady Koikoi”, spun from the haunting Nigerian high school folktale “Madam Koikoi.”

Director Pink’s visual language blends emotive simplicity, storytelling through color, and lyrical pacing, capturing the emotional core of Afrobeats.

Her standout videography includes:

Director Pink is the founder and creative force behind Pinkline Films, her own Nigerian film company, a platform for empowering emerging talents, especially female creatives.

In 2022, she co-founded Pinkline Academy, offering hands‑on training in cinematography, directing, editing, and even VFX. The academy draws students from Nigeria and internationally, forging career pipelines with major brands across Africa.
