In 2001/2002, Rita Dominic made the bold choice to leave the movie industry and relocate to London, seeking solace and a fresh perspective. Despite the uncertainty, Rita Dominic embraced a new role as a caregiver for adults with special needs, finding fulfillment and purpose in helping others during a challenging period in her life.

Reflecting on her experience, Rita Dominic emphasized that while some may perceive her decision to work as a caregiver as a “step-down” from her illustrious acting career, she views it differently.
